TIPS ON APPLYING FOR U.S.
FEDERAL STUDENT AID WHEN
STUDYING ABROAD
We looked to the Office of the U.S. Department of Education to provide you recommendations on applying for U.S. Federal Student Aid for tuition and expense help on your next international study adventure. Here's what they had to offer:
• START EARLY - there's more to do than your stateside friends, don't get caught short on time while on a deadline
• KEEP A "TO-DO" LIST - not only do you need to show up to that goodbye party Auntie Anne has planned for you, you'll need to make sure to address your Visa, housing forms, passports, insurance and other items you wont be able to, nor want to, Ignore
• CREATE A FILE - keep all vour important
• START EARLY - there's more to do than your stateside friends, don't get caught short on time while on a deadline

• CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL - find out who will be processing important items like financial aid at your new school, keep in contact with them and feel free to email or call them with any questions you may have
• GET HELP - check the "Help and Hints" section on each page of your FAFSA.gov application, or call 1-800-4-FED-AID
